Where we deliver
We deliver anywhere in South Africa by courier. Because a courier has to hand the parcel to a person, we cannot deliver to a post box. Give us a street address where somebody is around during the day, a work address is often the easiest.
You are also welcome to fetch your order from the workshop in Benoni instead, which costs nothing. There is more on that in section 08.
If you are outside South Africa, send us a message before you order and we will tell you whether we can get it to you and what it would cost.
What delivery costs
One flat rate, so there is nothing to work out. It does not matter whether you are in Benoni or in Upington, and it does not matter how many pieces you order.

The charge is shown to you at checkout before you pay, and nothing is ever added afterwards. Prices include VAT.
When your order leaves us
Once your order is with the courier it takes 2 to 5 working days to reach you. How long depends on how far you are from Benoni. Gauteng is usually at the short end of that, the coast and the smaller towns at the long end.
Every piece is cut, folded and welded in our own workshop, so we do not always have all nine pieces sitting on a shelf. If something you have ordered is not ready to go, we will email you with a date before we do anything else, and you are free to cancel at that point for a full refund.
Orders placed over a weekend or on a public holiday are picked up the next working day, so count the working days from then.
Following your parcel
As soon as your order is collected by the courier we will email you the tracking details. If a few days go by and nothing has moved, tell us and we will chase it from our side.
Somebody has to sign for it
The courier will not leave your order unattended at a gate or with a neighbour unless you have arranged that with them directly. If nobody is there, they will normally try again the next working day.
If the address is wrong
Please check your address carefully before you pay. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, we will happily send it again, but the second courier charge of R199 is for your account.
If it arrives damaged
Open your parcel as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, email sales@spitalles.co.za within seven days with your order number and a few photographs, including one of the outer packaging. We will sort it out. See our returns page for how that works.
Collecting instead
If you would rather fetch your order than pay a courier, choose Local pickup at checkout. You will not be charged for delivery.
We build in Benoni, at 77 Wattle Road, Benoni AH, Benoni, Gauteng, 1509. We will phone you on the number you gave us the moment your order is ready, so please wait for that call before driving out. If you need a particular day or time, say so in the order notes at checkout or phone us on 079 573 5870.
