01Who you are dealing with

This website is run by Spit Alles, 77 Wattle Road, Benoni AH, Benoni, Gauteng, 1509. You can contact us on +27 74 298 5566 or at orders@spitalles.co.za. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Spit Alles, and "you" means whoever is using the site or placing an order.

02Using this site

You are welcome to browse, buy and share our pages. Please do not try to break into the site, scrape it, copy it wholesale, or use it for anything unlawful. We do our best to keep the site up and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be offline or never contain a mistake.

03Prices

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and is shown to you at checkout before you pay.

Prices can change. The price that counts is the one showing when you place your order. If a price is obviously wrong because of a technical or human error, we will contact you before charging you and you can either confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

04Placing an order

When you place an order you are making us an offer to buy. The contract only exists once we send you an order confirmation email. Until then we may decline an order, for example if a piece is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect the payment is not genuine.

05Paying

Payment is by card, handled by Yoco. We do not see or store your card details. Your order is only made up once payment has gone through.

06Delivery and risk

We deliver in South Africa by courier. Full detail is on our shipping page. Ownership and risk pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave us. From that moment the goods are yours to look after.

07Returns and refunds

You have seven days to change your mind and six months to return anything defective. All of that is set out on our returns page, which forms part of these terms.

08Using the product safely

This is important. A SpitAlles is used with live fire and hot metal, and it is your responsibility to use it sensibly:

• never use it indoors, in a garage, in a tent, or in any space without proper ventilation
• keep children and pets well away from the fire and from the turning shaft
• do not leave a fire unattended
• the metal stays hot long after the fire has died down, so treat it as hot until you have checked
• set it up on stable, level ground where it cannot tip

We are not liable for injury, fire or damage to property that results from using the product carelessly, using it indoors, modifying it, or ignoring this section.

09Our brand and our photographs

The Spit Alles name, our logo, our product photographs and the words on this site belong to us. You may share a link to any page, but please do not copy our photographs or our copy into your own listings or website without asking us first.

10What we are responsible for

We stand behind what we make. If we get something wrong, we will repair it, replace it or refund you as set out in our returns policy and as South African law requires.

What we cannot take responsibility for is indirect loss, for example a ruined function or lost business, where that loss was not something either of us could reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, and nothing here excludes liability for death or injury caused by our own negligence.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. This version is dated 28 August 2026.

12Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before it gets that far, please just phone us. Most things are sorted out in one call.
